Wastewater treatment operators are faced with a number of challenges in the successful operation of their wastewater treatment system. If wastewater treatment operators understand how mixing affects the pH neutralization systems, they will be able to run their facilities more efficiently. It is also important that they understand how pH neutralization works. This course has been designed to provide the operator with a background on the principles behind pH adjustment, the need for adequate mixing, and how the two work together to maximize the efficiency of a treatment system.
